Yet another inspirational TOBI Talks session that will address impactful issues for the digital age is around the corner: Digital Business Models, Disruption and Portfolios.
The escalating importance of digital innovation and digital transformation call attention to the opportunities and challenges of new business models. In his speech, after introducing business models and digital innovation, Dr. Fielt will present two distinct types of business models, which continuously get attention in the digital age: Data-driven business models and platform-ecosystem business models. Subsequently, he will explain how incumbent established organizations with a mix of traditional and contemporary business models tackle new digital entrants with disruptive business models. During the speech, Dr. Fielt will illustrate these areas with some examples from his research.
